A Duckie Summer Tea Party

Over 2,000 people attended Hull’s Queen Victoria Square for A Duckie Summer Tea Party in July 2017.

It was an afternoon of socialising and dancing that welcomed benders, trenders and gender offenders to celebrate their freedom in the city.

The event included 100 fancy waiters in black tie serving tea and cake, a new work by Gary Clarke and Yorkshire Dance celebrating five decades of queer culture with a cast of 50 performers, dancing to the London Gay Big Band and performances from Topher Campbell, The Sugar Dandies, Victoria Sin, Legs 67 and The LipSinkers.

MC & DJ was Duckie starlet Amy Lamé.

It was followed by Duckie's After Party at Fuel

Marking the 50th anniversary of the partial DeCrim of homos in the UK, Duckie have collaborated with Hull 2017 City of Culture and Pride in Hull on this and on it's sister event 50 Queers for 50 Years.
